How are BHO Wax, Shatter, Oil, and Other Extracts Made?
BHO refers to “butane hash oil”, which is cannabis oil extract made via light hydrocarbon solvents such as butane, propane or a mix of both. Making quality BHO is multi-stage process best done using closed-loop extraction machines like the PX1, and the final cannabis oil-based products can come in different forms like shatter, budder, wax and oil tinctures. This video details the entire BHO-making process, including the science behind many of the steps.
